At the heart of the new Finepix A610 is a 6.3-megapixel Super CCD-HR imager. The Super CCD imager excels in capturing fine detail with low noise, even in difficult lighting situations. The new Finepix A610 also features a new enhanced GUI (Graphic User Interface) icon-based menu system specifically designed to make it easy for first-time digital camera users to find their way around all of the brilliant features of the camera. The menu system even offers a brief description of each feature/setting as you move through the menu, so finding the right adjustment of setting is a snap!

In addition, the Finepix A610 features more preset scene positions than ever before in an entry level Finepix digital camera, offering 14 different scene positions that make it easy to get great pictures in a variety of challenging shooting environments.
